Cerulean Crown Desert Rose Bulbs

Adenium obesum — Cerulean Crown. Saturated cerulean petals, each one outlined by a hairline gold edge that catches the light and separates the ruffles. Up close the centre spirals into a tight rosette; from across a room it reads as one solid blue mass. The plant carries a compact, upright caudex that stays proportionate in a 6 in pot.

What you get

How to start it

• Pot: 6 in / 15 cm terracotta with a drainage hole. 50% cactus soil, 30% pumice, 20% coarse sand.
• Water: dry for the first 7 days, then soak thoroughly and let the pot dry out completely before the next drink.
• Light: 6+ hours of direct sun. The gold edge only shows properly in bright light.
• Cold: USDA 10–12 outdoors; elsewhere treat it as a houseplant above 50°F / 10°C.

Cool-toned flowers are the most light-dependent in the collection: full sun holds the blue, a dim windowsill pushes it toward slate. Ships dormant and bare-root, wrapped in dry sphagnum. 5–7 working days to dispatch, 8–25 working days in transit.
