Crimson Double Desert Rose Bulbs

Adenium obesum — Crimson Double. The red that made desert roses famous: fully doubled, rose-form blooms in a deep crimson, each one ringed by a spray of upright buds that keeps the display going for weeks. It is the most requested colour in the whole range, and this line holds it with a clean, saturated finish. Give it sun and a warm spot, and it is one of the earliest and most reliable flowerers here.

What you get

• Dormant bare-root caudex with visible eyes and a full root system — not a seed.
• Flowers the first season once nights stay above 60°F / 15°C.
• One plant per bulb ordered — multi-packs are separate caudexes.

How to start it

• Pot: terracotta, one size up from the roots. 50% cactus soil, 30% pumice, 20% coarse sand.
• Water: none for the first 7 days, then soak and dry fully between drinks.
• Light: 6+ hours; red deepens with sun.
• Cold: USDA 10–12 outdoors; elsewhere above 50°F / 10°C.
