Sunflower Mohawk Grass Head Doll — Single Desk Plant
$30.00 – $85.00Price range: $30.00 through $85.00
A tall centre tuft with a crocheted sunflower pinned through it. One doll, one saucer, one clean shot — the simplest version we sell.
Grass head doll — sunflower mohawk. The grass grows straight up in a single tuft, and the crochet sunflower sits in the middle of it like a badge. Side blades stay short if you trim them once, which is what gives the mohawk its shape rather than a shaggy mop.
What you get
- One doll per piece ordered, about 4 in / 10 cm tall, filled and pre-sown with rye grass.
- Crochet sunflower clip with a black dotted centre, plus a blue textured butterfly at the collar.
- Light blue saucer, deeper than the standard dish so it holds water for a long weekend.
How to grow the mohawk
- Soak 8–12 hours, then stand it in the saucer with a shallow layer of water.
- Water daily; mist the tuft when the room is heated. Dry grass will not stand up.
- Light: 4–5 hours of direct sun makes for a stiff, upright tuft — the whole point of this cut.
- Trim at three weeks: cut the sides and back close, leave the centre 2–3 in tall, then pin the sunflower through the middle.
- Re-cut every ten days to keep the shape; grass grows back faster after a trim, not slower.
Photographed on its own against plain mint, because this is the version people buy as a single gift rather than a set. Non-toxic seed and filling, safe with children and cats. Ships in 5–7 working days, 8–25 working days in transit.
