Baby’s Breath Grass Head Doll — Cosmos Bloom Twin, Gingham Bow Tie

Price range: $30.00 through $85.00

Dressed rather than accessorised: a navy gingham bow tie on the baby’s-breath head, a red one on the cosmos head. Two dapper little plants for a kitchen sill.

SKU: N/A Category:

Grass head dolls — Gingham Bow Tie edition. The one on the left sprouts fine rye grass studded with tiny white baby’s-breath flowers; the one on the right grows a full head of pink and white cosmos. Both wear a checked bow tie at the collar instead of the usual butterfly, which makes them look considerably more employable than the rest of the range.

What you get

  • 1–5 dolls, about 4 in / 10 cm tall, filled and pre-sown — baby’s-breath mix or cosmos mix.
  • Gingham bow tie (navy on the baby’s-breath head, red on the cosmos head) and googly eyes.
  • Saucer included with each doll; the cosmos head sits in a deeper dish because it drinks more.

How to grow them

  • Soak 8–12 hours first — both heads, no shortcuts.
  • Water: keep a little water in the saucer at all times and mist the foliage daily. Cosmos sulks and drops buds if it dries out even once.
  • Light: 4–6 hours of sun for the flowers, 3–4 for the grass. A south-facing kitchen window suits both.
  • Timing: grass and white flowers at 2–3 weeks; cosmos at 5–6 weeks. Deadhead to keep the show going.

Grown on a sill, not in a garden bed — no soil, no repotting, no drainage tray to hide. Non-toxic seed and filling, safe in a house with cats and small children. Ships in 5–7 working days, 8–25 working days in transit.
