Aurora Bloom Desert Rose Bulbs

Adenium obesum — Aurora Bloom. No two blooms on this plant match, and that is the point. Each double opens in one part of the pink-violet-cyan range and drifts as it ages, so a head in full flower carries the whole spectrum at once — the aurora effect that gives the variety its name. Under the flowers it is a standard, easy adenium: thick caudex, tidy habit, unfazed by a missed watering.

What you get

How to start it

• Pot: free-draining mix — 50% cactus soil, 30% pumice, 20% coarse sand.
• Water: none for the first 7 days, then soak and dry fully between drinks.
• Light: 6+ hours. Bright sun intensifies the shift between shades.
• Cold: USDA 10–12 outdoors; elsewhere above 50°F / 10°C on a bright sill.

The shift is strongest in spring and autumn; in constant high summer heat the range narrows — normal, not a fault. Ships dormant and bare-root, wrapped in dry sphagnum. 5–7 working days to dispatch, 8–25 working days in transit.
