7-Day Grass Head Doll — Braided Topknot, Starfish Clip
$30.00 – $85.00Price range: $30.00 through $85.00
Sprouts in about seven days, braid it at three weeks. The wooden slice is the before photo — bald, seeded, waiting.
Grass head doll — seven-day braid edition. The claim on the box is accurate: soak it and you get visible green in about a week. From there the grass keeps lengthening until you can gather it into a single tall braid, pin a starfish through the middle and finish the top with a flower clip.
What you get
- One doll per piece ordered, about 4 in / 10 cm tall, filled and pre-sown with rye grass.
- Starfish clip and flower pin — the starfish sits at the braid band, the flower at the tip.
- Pink drip saucer that matches the braid band.
The seven-day timeline
- Day 0: soak 8–12 hours. This is the whole trick — skip it and nothing sprouts.
- Days 1–7: stand it in the saucer with water and mist twice a day. Green fuzz appears around day 5–7.
- Weeks 2–3: the blades reach 2–3 in. Now braid — gather the grass, plait loosely, band it, clip the starfish on.
- Light: 4–6 hours of sun. In shade it sprouts but stays pale and limp.
- After that: trim the braid ends every ten days and re-plait; the grass keeps growing through the band.
The wooden slice under the bald doll is a prop showing day zero — the doll ships seeded and unwatered, which is exactly what it looks like. Non-toxic seed and filling, safe with cats and children about. Ships in 5–7 working days, 8–25 working days in transit.
