Moonpetal Desert Rose Bulbs

Adenium obesum — Moonpetal. Clean white double flowers with a green-white eye, no pink, no veining. On a plant this heavily branched the effect in bloom is closer to a small tree than a houseplant — three or four thick arms off one massive base, each carrying its own cluster of flowers.

What you get

• Dormant bare-root caudex with a thick multi-branch base and a broad root system.
• Flowers the first season once nights stay above 60°F / 15°C.
• One plant per bulb ordered — each a single plant, never a split clump.

How to start it

• Pot: wide and heavy — this one gets top-heavy in bloom. 50% cactus soil, 30% pumice, 20% coarse sand.
• Water: 7 dry days after potting, then soak-and-dry cycles. White flowers mark badly if water sits on them.
• Light: 6+ hours of direct sun. Indoors, rotate a quarter turn weekly or it leans.
• Cold: USDA 10–12; indoors above 50°F / 10°C, near-dry over winter.

White adenium are the most sensitive to overwatering — if in doubt, wait another two days. Ships dormant and bare-root, wrapped in dry sphagnum. 5–7 working days to dispatch, 8–25 working days in transit.
