Cosmos Bloom Grass Head Doll — Free Saucer Included

Grass head doll — cosmos bloom, saucer included. Fine-stemmed cosmos that opens into loose pink and white daisies above the head rather than a stiff green mop. It reads softer than a grass head and holds its flowers for weeks if you keep deadheading.

What you get

• One doll per piece ordered, about 4 in / 10 cm tall, pre-sown with the cosmos mix.
• White scalloped saucer at no extra cost — the piece usually sold separately with flower heads.
• Butterfly pin at the collar in the colour shown: blue, pink-purple or green depending on the piece.

How to grow it

• Soak 8–12 hours before the first watering. Cosmos seed is slow and uneven without it.
• Water: saucer shallow-filled daily, mist the foliage in the morning. Never let it dry right out — buds drop instead of opening.
• Light: 5–6 hours of sun. In shade you get stems and no flowers at all.
• Deadhead weekly. Each spent daisy removed is another bud within a fortnight.
• Around week 5 the head is fully in bloom and stays that way for three to four weeks.
