How to grow it

• Soak 8–12 hours fully submerged. This is the step that decides whether you get grass or a wet ball of sawdust.
• Water daily from the saucer; mist the head if the room is heated.
• Light: a bright windowsill, 4–6 hours. Rotate it so the hair grows evenly instead of leaning.
• First sprouts in 5–7 days, full head at 2–3 weeks.
• Cut it with scissors whenever it flops — it grows back, usually denser than the first time.
